Any tips on where to go and where to eat in Granada city?
I am, of course, not talking about the obvious place - we have booked our tickets on-line! However we are only spending two nights there, and it is our first visit, so any insider tips of other places to see would be appreciated. Plus any good places for tapas and menú del día (good but cheap, as we are pensionistas!)

Other than going to the market area, it had Eastern type goods, some beautiful things when I was there over a year ago. I was I could find the name on line but no luck yet. I walked to it from an underground parking area which was under a big wide street with walking path in the middle which had lots of interesting things up it, wavy benches, one with cushions and a little bronze bird on one plus a few good statues. Also I enjoyed the Plaza just as you come out of the market. Sorry not much help but hoped to go back and rediscover but not been yet.
