Default Malaga airport and the disabled

I went to collect my disabled sister yesterday from the airport and she was absolutely delighted with the treatment she received this end.
I had read that services had been improved but this was really quite exceptional. A young man collected her suitcase, pushed her in a wheelchair and would not relinqush her to me - only the case, telling me it was his job and he was paid to do so.
He came with me to our waiting space and stayed until OH drove up to collect us and only then would he give up his charge and did not want a tip. I am sure he would have taken her to the rail station or found a taxi for her too.
She was so pleased about it that she is going to write to them and thank them. She did not have to move from her chair in the plane to car without full asisstance.
I hope that this inspires confidence to other would be disabled visitors here.

The feedback from the new assistance service for persons with reduced mobility is very good. More details here.....

It's good to see they are getting this together, at least it's something that seems to be working at Malaga airport (And I don't mean because of the work). Most times I find there are no trollies, confusion over what carosel the luggage goes to, lost bags (Especially when coming from Madrid) and people mobbing the exit so you can't get out easily.

Thats a bugbear of mine, all the folks waiting for friends/ relatives blocking the way out some are half way into the exit and will not move out of the way, Sevilla airport can be very bad for it. Now I am afraid I just run them over with my case or walk into them and looked shocked as if I never expected to see someone there No spacial awareness is a big problem here.
Just a country girl looking for a new life
