    Default Nerja Market

    Hi everyone,
I've been advised to ask my question here. Anyone know if Nerja market is still operating, albeit in a new location and not the town streets?
I shall be there Jan Feb and March and love trolling around the market, so I shall be disappointed if things have gone wrong.
    Thanks

    Default Other markets

Yes, that's sad, but there are markets not so far from Nerja, and local bus is not so expensive.

Torre del Mar has a market on Sundays. Almuñecar on Fridays. On the Nerja Ayuntamiento website they have a timetable for the bus.

It's also said at the website that there will soon be a new adress for the market - so maybe they have a solution coming.
On Sunday mornings there is a car boot sale at Urbanización Flamingo.

    Default Nerja Masrket

Thanks Sindri, We have been in Nerja since 10th January and have been to the Monday market in Torrox and are going to the Friday one in Almunecar tomorrow. I'm afraid we miss the handiness of the Nerja one and it does seem there is no end in sight to the dispute. We are here until the end of March, but I doubt we will see it back!

Oh - Almuñecar is really big, but it's a nice town. Was there in October, they had really a lot of shoes. We are going to Nerja ourselves pretty soon, so we will probably not see the local market either.....
