Hi I did think about that but thought it may be a bit of a trek. Would it be mostly motorways or would it need a lot of navigation?
I am not so good at driving abroad and the motorways just seem to branch off and if you go wrong you cant get back on. Maybe i will have to get the sat nav for europe from my mum and dad |

Go to Michelin Route Guide, and put in your exact departure point and your destination. I put Murcia to Malaga Airport and its 409km and it would take you just about 4 hours and its mainly motorways. Murcia -Granada-Malaga. Michelin Route planner is brilliant.

Hi Hevs
You'd spend longer going by plane than driving (what with the early check in etc)......and actually it's a very easy drive and with your sat nav you could stop off on route if you felt like it...... BTW another option is by train from Catagena .....or Coach..... |

I wouldn't want to argue with the Michelin guide, but most people I know prefer the new coastal motorway Murcia, Almeria, Malaga. I haven't tried it but it's supposed to be better than via Granada..anyone done it?
Hevs, from Alcazares, you can go via Cartagena and pick up the motorway to Almeria at Vera. CD Last edited by CDThader; 23-05-2009 at 23:11. Reason: info for hevs |
