Where I live these tax bills are not issued till Aug/Sept time and if paid before end of Nov. no penalties added. I know they are different in other areas like many other things here in Spain.

Ours is paid by direct debit and I think it's taken around September time.

Is that just house tax ? it seems fairly standard but the car/bike tax seems to vary.

Yeah it's the rates equivalent. We don't have a car out there, CD might be able to answer on that point ;-)

Here in La Communidad Valenciana, our car tax has to be paid by 6th May each year. A neighbour, who lives in the UK and only visits occasionally was presented with a suma bill this morning. It was for her car tax, plus 4 euros something for not paying in time. I assume that fine is added to each month, so I advised her to pay it immediately. It's worth checking with neighbours, you could find that the fine/interest/commision may be more than the tax.If your vehicle is registered to you, you should receive a slip with when and how much to pay. Here we pay suma, and it is easy to pop into the nearest suma office to check.

I went to the ayuntameinto, twice in the last month, to check and all three are not payable till September in my village.
Receiving bills is another matter for me, but I may have sorted this one now.

They are in the title Thader.

I understand now, I thought I was missing out.

All three are supposed to be sent in September here and paid by 3rd Nov. I was sent the car and bike ones in Sept and paid them but the house one never arrived. I went to ayuntameinto last week and got my IBI bill for this year, then off to the bank and paid it.
Here in Spain you really do have to chase your bills at times. I hate to think what happens if you never get any and never query the companies.
