Hi Rob
We use mybubble.es (used to be called iAksess) but have a permanent connection.......it's really a historic thing from way back; the Spanish family just across from us use an Orange PasYG dongle ;-))
As another option (and a relatively new service I've noticed)....it seems with some suppliers you can have your broadband switched on/off.....from the little investigation I've done, it sounds like it would really suit those folks who do 2/3 months in Spain and then flit off somewhere else for a few months.
Over the next year we're planning to switch Vender.....haven't decided who we'll go with yet as have not finished investigating the choices and speaking to (local) friends about their experiences.....
BTW if you decide to go with a fixed service.....a site we found very helpful is "adslayuda.com/comparativa_adsl.html"; if you select your postal code "Por Código postal" you can get download/upload stats by carrier for your area. Of course not all Venders are covered....just those that are most well known.

Thinks that if all economists were laid end to end, they would not reach a conclusion
Resurrecting an old thread to say Carrefour do internet via dongle for one euro a day 100mg limit. 30 euros to buy the dongle with 5 free days. It is wroking fine here in The Alpujarra. if you dont use it one day you do not get charged it seems. Much better deal than Vodafone who changed terms and conditions without notice Grrrrrr !
Just a country girl looking for a new life
