    Default Looking for friends

    Hello everyone,
    My name is Gosia. Im Polish (sorry for any mistakes with my english) and came here month ago with my husband (English) and 5 yrs old son.
    We live in La Torre Golf near Roldan, Torre Pacheco.
    Because my husband working all days I just wonder if is somebody who would like to go for shopping or coffie sometimes.

    I see....nobody is interesting. Thats ok. I will keep trying...
    ....just sometimes I wish I could to talk with somebody else then my husband....

    You have given up after only two hours? The person you may be seeking may not live here all the time, or may be elsewhere today, or may even be on holiday, or may not have moved here yet. We are spread all over the place. A number of us are in Andalucía, some are in Alicante, others in Valencia yet more are around Barcelona, we even have two poor sould who are in Bulgaria and I don't exactly see Gwen popping over for a cup of coffee and a chat.

    Hi Gosia, I don't know of anyone who lives in Torre Pacheco, but we do have members in San Pedro de Pinatar which is not that far away. I'm sure someone will reply soon. Some go on here daily, while others only once a week. welcome to the site, and join in when you want to.

    Hi Gosia

    CD mentions San Pedro del Pinatar (which is where our place is) anyway after checking googlemaps it looks like you're around 25 minutes away from us by car ;-)

    We flit between casa1 (UK) and casa2 (Spain) however in recent times due to an ongoing legal case in Turkey we've spend much less time in casa2 That said, if you're still looking to meet up with folks I'm happy to catch up for a coffee next time we're in Spain

    In the interim there are heavily subsidised languages classes you could attend which (I understand) have a high social content with them....although in San Pedro del Pinatar itself, they are not running this year; however I understand other local Ayuntamientos are still providing the service.....maybe Torre-Pacheco? Another social idea might be to go along to an ADAPT meeting or one of the other local groups
