Hello Gosia, welcome the the Absolute Spain Forum. Have you tried the local vets ? they may know someone or be willing to put an add in the waiting room. Is there a rescue centre near by, I know they are usually full to bursting with dogs not sure about cats though. Maybe your neighbours, or they know of someone ? I hope you find them a good home, good luck

Unfortunately there are more cats and kittens looking for homes than people who want to adopt them. I have a friend who they call Joe the cat man. He takes in unwanted cats and abandoned kittens in this area and tries to rehome them.. With many Brits returning to the UK and dumping their pets, this has become an uphill struggle, and many have to be put down.

    Hi Gosia

As the others have mentioned unfortunately there are already a huge number of cats looking for new homes due to people dumping them when they return to the UK or because for whatever reason they can no longer keep them. This is already putting a strain on the animal charities

Maybe as Val mentioned try the Vets, or also what about placing an advert is your local Free Ads newspaper?

Alternatively have you considered visiting the doctor to see whether your Sons allergy can be treated? A friend of mine had a cat allergy a few years back but got over it after having desensitising treatment. I gather from her there is also something called Immunotherapy which can be used to treat a cat allergy.

Not a help, I'm afraid but a sad note on previous posts.

Do you know why they sell rabbit meat (conejo) complete with the head and eyes? It is so that you can tell that it is not cat, they are very difficult to tell apart without the head.

BTW Welcome to the forum from the mountains of the Sierra Sur de Jaén.
