Sorry, Im too far away from you to know of any kennels in your area, but when we were looking for one, I found getting advice from local vets very helpful.

This may be a little to far for you, but my dog has stayed there twice and I would highly recommend it. Its just off the Lorca to Caravaca road. Barbara the owner is crazy about dogs and they get excellent care.

Default Any kennels that will pick up dogs?

We may be taking a dog from the local Albergue in Jumilla, however our main concern is that we donīt have a car, plus we occasionally go back to the UK when we have no other choice - like friends or family deciding to get married!

Itīs good to go on personal recommendation, so we would be interested in contacting the names given, but what are their charges like and would they collect and return a dog?

Lyn, at Mar Menor, does pick up dogs and drops them off for you, she charges only the price of petrol, and she does discounts as well, I think it sepends how big your dog is, I have a great dane, and she only charges 10euros per day. She is very good, my dog loves it there. I have used her for 3years now and I trust her without doubt, give her a ring on 681 115 885, say Sue recomended you,

Thanks. We will certainly give her a call.

The dog we are thinking of adopting is very small. She was living in our street before 4 Patas picked her up, and used to follow us whenever we walked into town, however she had a collar and looked well cared for so we assumed somebody owned her! We later discovered that lots of neighbours were feeding her....!!! Thatīs why she didnīt look like a stray.

ahh, I picked up a small bedraggeled dog, and fell in love with her I only had her 2 weeks, when I had to go back to the UK for a month, I left her with Lyn at Mar Menor boarding, when I returned, Lyn had housetrained her taught her basic comands, and had her eating regular dried dog food, and, which I thought was brilliant, had got the dog so used to cats, it didnt/dosnt bother her to be around them, thats why I wont use any other kennels, I cant speak enough of her and the care she gives all that board with her.
