Talking Here you go folks....my starter for 10 LOL

The following are a few establishments we have found to offer good food ;-))

    > La Cabana I & II, San Pedro del Pinatar – this is just a nice, quick and easy eatery that we use on occasions. Mainly pizza, pasta & tapas but always good value. La Cabana I is near the town centre, just follow the Mercadona supermarket directions above, carry on past Mercadona and look for a pizzeria sign on the right hand side a couple of hundred yards past the supermarket. La Cabana II is on the same side of the same road about a half mile away heading towards the beach (this restaurant is more or less opposite the marina/boat park for sailing club)

    > Casa Miguel, Lo Pagan (great location overlooking the Mar Menor) – there's a number of eateries along the beachfront at Lo Pagan and we've eaten at this one a couple of times because its so nice. To drive there, you need to do a complete circle around (as the beachfront road is one-way) or master the back streets so be warned! But walking along the sea-front promenade away from La Molina, it's a couple of hundred yards on the right.

    > Restaurante Chino, Pilar de la Horadada (Tel. 966 767 944) – a lot of Chinese restaurants in the area are extremely good value with set menus that mean 4 people can eat a good meal with starters, duck & main courses for about 40 Euros. This one is no exception but the quality of the food was really superb when we tried it. Go to the fishing boat roundabout, under the AP-7 and out on the N-332 road. At the Champion supermarket roundabout in Pilar de la Horadada, turn left and it will be up on the left just after the supermarket car park.

    > Campoamor Golf Course Clubhouse, Campoamor – on a sunny day, this is a great place to go have lunch & enjoy the view from the top of a hill. Mainly salads, tortillas (omelettes), sandwiches & burgers but reasonably priced. To get there, head down the N-332 towards Torrevieja & you'll see it signposted about 10 kilometres from San Pedro del Pinatar.

    > Restaurante Dani just off the main square in San Pedro del Pinatar (more like a cafe). Nice coffee, great paella (but needs to be ordered in advance).

We have a place on the La Manga Strip and can recommend:-

Marios at the Mar Menor side of the Tomas Maestre Marina, they do great Asian cuisine and it's just so relaxing looking over the water, sometimes the proprietor, Mario and his family sing and they are all pretty good.

The Mexican restaurant just next to Marios, very nice, love their Fajittas, massive portion, can certainly serve 2, we usually ask for extra Tortillas to bulk it out a bit.

The restaurant at Roda Golf is very good, stunning views, would say slightly more expensive than the restaurants we have eaten at on the strip but worth a bit extra for a special meal.

Golf club at Campoamar, would like to recommend this one too, the views from this restaurant are to die for, we like to go up on a sunny day, I love their Calamari a la Romaro with a copa de vino blanco!

I absolutely love the little coffee shop near our apartment, if you are heading towards the north of the Strip the coffee shop is on your right hand side after you cross the Estacio Bridge (the lifting bridge), I love to go there in the morning for a cafe con leche and a croissant with butter and jam, very reasonable prices!
