CD. Arrived at border hotel at 3pm. Overcast, 6 deg, dry. Roads were full of convoys of heavy trucks travelling north for the northern supermarkets. Really bad time to be heading north for the UK.

I have traveled south on a Sunday evening and the lines of big lorries waiting to cross France are amazing!
