There's one on the Strip (well actually there's a few buildings on The Strip that in my humble opinion could do with the dynamite but one in particular, next to a hotel, Doblemar???, that is a graffitied skeleton) I wouldn't mind seeing that come down and while they are at it if they could make up their minds about the Puerto Mayor and if it's not being built then return it to it's natural state or if it is being built, hurry up and get on with it!

We took Los Cuñados along the La Manga strip and on the way stopped off at Playa Parisio........the beach looks very nice......lovely clear water and beautiful palm trees. We could see the pile of rubble waiting to be removed where that skeleton building once existed.
We noticed the plot which back in 2003 we were told would soon contain commercial units and shops remains baron. There was an old boat parked up facing the empty plot......

It certainly has, all gone within a couple of months. The dog units used it for search training a couple of times, then it was gone
The new promenade was also finished along Playa Paraiso, from Playa Honda to Playa Aleman, but the 'commercial' area is still wasteground. The new Sports Centre is in use, just the astro-turf pitch. nothing inside the buildings yet - they keep running out of money.
Well at least it's a start in the right direction..... If San Pedro gets the biggest Ice Rink in Europe and if that Paramount development comes as current feedback seems to indicate Murcia could be on a serious economic recovery within the next couple of years........I have my fingers crosed
