a trip to Valencia city would well worth it (hour drive max), the christmas lights and nativity scene (in town hall square) are always very good. Normally there is an outdoor ice skating rink, not sure where it will be this year (if at all). A visit to the City of Arts and Sciences, they have a christmas fair/display with things going on throughout the day, again not heard any confirmation for this year yet. Last year there was a huge fairground out by the beach, they have one every year somewhere. Advertising of events out here is very poor and is always very last minute. If I hear anything i will post it here for you.
