    Hi there, I'm driving down to Marbella, Costa del Sol next week and will be stopping off in Barcelona for two-three days.

    Can anyone recommend any good restaurants in Barcelona city??

    I cannot remember the name of it, but there is this great seafood place on Ramblas near Placa de Catalunya; I think it's called Cafe Cerveceria (but don't quote me on it, it's been 6 years). If I do have the right place whose food I thought was great, maybe others from Barcelona can confirm.

    Cerveceria Catalana like Brian says is a great place to eat.

    They server food all day and given that is is busy nearly all the time, everything is totally fresh!!! They also have a nice terrace which is great when its hot in summer...
