    Default Libraries in Barcelona?

Are there English language books in the libraries? We will be there for several months at a time and it seems way too expensive to have my books shipped to me from US.

    Hi berlin2

I've moved your post to the Barcelona forum section.

I'm not sure what books you are referring to (for studies or for leisure?)...

I would highly doubt that they have books in English but then again I don't know.

It's worth it to get a library card at the city libraries, but mostly for dvds and cds. I don't think you'll find many English books.

You can pay a nominal fee and get a card at the north american institute (I think that's what it's called) on Via augusta. They have a pretty decent english library, lots of literature, etc.

You can also go to any of the university libraries, though checking out books probably isn't possible. I used to just sit there and read.

Hibernian is the best second hand bookshop.
