    Default Baaaaarça

    Barça, Barça, Baaaaaaarça!

Well done to the team, beaten a lot of records this year. I was in El Corte Ingles and they even anounced the win in there! (don't ask..... who in their right minds hits El Corte Ingles the Saturday before Christmas)

Barca have been a pleasure to watch and I am so pleased for them that they are still winning titles! but they can stop now! lol.
(from a Valencia and Arsenal fan!)
Can´t wait for the world cup, Spain should cruise it if they play to the standard they are capable of!

    My family are Arsenal fans!

Spain doesn't normally do very well in the world cup. I't a bit of a joke here !

We will wish them luck though!!!

im a Barca member and go to most home games, travelling from the UK every other wekk! am so proud of my Blaugran heroes, to win 3 titles alst season WOW, but to win hte additional 3 this season, to win all6 titles in 1 year is crazy!
i think Spain will win the world cup, however, it may be a littel more tricky than expected (we presume they will win the group) they will play the 2nd placed team in ''the group of death'' but they should be good enough! with players like Iker, piquenbaeur, Putol, xavi, A.iniesta, david villa, fernando torres, it is exciting and lookig very intersting this summer

Barcelona have been outstanding and Pep Guardola has done a magnificent job over the last year. I dont think last year will be repeated I can't quite put my finger on the problem but in my opinion there is something missing this year.Real Madrid will be a bigger problem this year and may well be their biggest threat.

no nor do i, i think the year 2009 will always be a 1 off! where 1 team dominates so many titles! however i do think if Barca were to win La Liga and the Champions League again in 2009/10 then that will be as succesful a season as 2008/09! For the simple reason being that no team has defended the CL trophy since its invention! (from the European Cup?). To an extent i do not fear Madriz in the slightest. They have bought all these superstars we have created superstars! with Messi, Xavi and Iniesta all coming through La Masia, whereas kaka' and Christina were both bought for ludicrous fees!

I agree with your comments regarding Kaka and Ronaldo the fees were ridiculous and disgusting. Kaka has still to prove himself and according to my good lady wife Ronaldo spends more time on his backside/play acting. Real have brought on some good young players themselves, Iker, Granero and Higuain.Dont forget when mentioning transfers how much Barca paid for Ibrahimovic.Good luck to them both and we wait and see.

yeah Madriz have bought through alot of young players (higuain was bought for a significant fee along with Gago from Argentina in 2007?). ibra and Dani Alves are the 2 most notable 1st team players who we have spent money on, the rest; Valdes, Puyol, Pique (£5milion but was bought up in la Masia), Sergio Busquets, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Messi, Bojan/Pedro all have come through our youth system!
I dont realy mind with the transfer fees, if a club ahs the money then spend it, but does Perez have this money? will the Spanish |Government help bail him (again) buying land and then re-selling it at a cheaper fee! what i was saying was the top5 players were all from la Liga, which shows that its the best in the world, and 3 of them were from barca who all cmae through the YTS and the other 2 from Madriz who were bought to trya nd emulate FCB, which 6 titles in 1 season WILL NEVER be emulated

Dont say NEVER my friend you might have to eat your words.Cant argue with most of your comments but still think Barca will find it harder this year. Most of all it makes for good football and that is all that really matters. Roll on the New Year and let the games begin.
