Default About my trip to Barselona

Well, as I promised to Greg to tell about my trip to Barselona, I'll try to put into words all the emotions I got there .
At first, I definitely fell in love with Barselona, from the day we landed there ).
I want to tell you guys who live there are so lucky to live in such a great city, of course I live in Moscow and some would say that Moscow is a beautiful city and they will be right, but they are so different. I've visited almost all of the places that we intended on visiting Sagrada Familla of course was speechless, but I was more in awe when I entered the Cathedral. In park Guelle I met a woman she was playing some musical instrument, the music was wonderfull and the woman was so nice too, for some reason her music left an impact, may be because the sun was shining, the weather was great and all of the people we met were all so nice.
When we went to Monjuic it was about 10.30 in the evening, we met an old lady walking her dog out and I asked how to find a shorter way there, it came out that she didn't speak a word in English and we didn't speak a word in Spanish, but I learned french once and for some reason I understood that she was telling us not to go there at such a late time because it is dangerous )), so, we decided not to go but unfortunately we couldn't go back there again, so I hope I'll come back again. Other than that there were no any problem, oh well except that when we went to casa batllo a police came saying that there been some terrorist attacks lately in Barselona and they got some threat warning, so we had to leave the building, though came back there again next day ). I haven't met even one person sneezing or being sick, seemed like all people are smiling and happy at least that were the only people we met. So no swine flu ) thanks God.
Well, thank you guys for reading through this. Enjoy you working week.

Glad you enjoyed BCN! I think the weather has a lot to do with all the smiles.

I come from Toronto which well isnīt quite as cold as Moscow but close . Not many smiles in the winter, maybe the odd bloody nose from the dry air.

You didnīt get a chance to go to the beach? Have a beer in the heat and float in the mediterranean.

Hopefully youīre not a vegetarian and had some of the iberic pork, that is some special stuff. Almost kobe like.

Moscow isn't that cold once you get used to it , at some point 0 degree seems like almost a spring time.

Of course I did enjoy the beach in Barselona and in Santa Susanna )), we had nice spanish wine in the evening ) on the beach.
No, I am not a vegetarian but I didn't try iberic pork as well, noone mentioned we should, so, we just ate lots of seafood, paella and some other delicious food. May be next time I will.
