Thread: Ahoy from CANADA! Now in BCN

Hey All,

I just wanted to say hi. My name is Alex coming to you from Toronto, Canada.

I´m here with my wife and we´re living in diagonal mar infront of mar bella beach.

Hope to meet some of you over the years. We´re here to stay for 2 years on a inter-company transfer. Both under 30.

So far love the city, love the fresh food and of course the ridiculously stable sunny weather... how could you not smile every morning.

I'm in Ottawa but was in Barcelona for a week in Feb. 2008. Enjoyed every moment. Part of our 3 months in Spain.
Will be back in Spain, again for 3 months, at the end of Dec. Will be our 5th winter in Spain. Puerto Duquesa is so much nicer in the winter than Ottawa!

lol almost anywhere is better than Ottawa winters. Is tourism in Spain that common during the winter? Can you still swim in November?

Well, I never have, but then I'm not big on swimming and I've never been there in Nov. I have noticed a few people in the water in Jan. Usually people on holiday that are going in the water regardless.
