Hi adriano
I have and had the same predicament..going to Barcelona means you either pay or bring your own spot..as you write it is expensive in other places too...I find the same here in the Penedes area ..where ever I use a parking they take blood.. |

I thought it was unbeliveable parking in Valencia. They park two or three cars deep from the curb. They , as a gesture leave there handbrakes off , so that if you are blocked in you just roll the offending cars out of the way.
Thank god Valencia is flat. |

I think to call it "Parking" is a misnomer, more like "Abandonment".

Could anyone tell me does the blue badge disabled parking scheme work in spain as it has the europe sign on it.
But was afraid to use it incase I got a ticket?? Also if you can use it do you have free parking or do you have to pay. I would be using it in the Murcia region of spain in Los Alcazares if that makes any difference. |

The blue badge design is now standard across the European Union and you are entitled to the local concessions which apply in each Member State, these do vary from country to country. Details are contained on pages 29-39 of our booklet “The Blue Badge Scheme: rights and responsibilities in England” taken from this web site, just add the www. I think it is downloadable.
