Thread: Barcelona Universities

i want to study in Barcelona in 2011 and i was thinking of going to Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona...is it a good university? what other universities are good in barcelona for international students not living in europe and i also want to know if there are dorms in the universities like here in the united states and also student loans or scholarships. thanks

Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona is a popular choice for ERASMUS students coming to Barcelona.

Several big universities like Ramon Llull, etc. have their own "residencias" as they call them here. They fill up VERY quick so if you come to study here at one of the universities which have residencias, then enquire early on. Finding a flat in Barcelona as a student can be a nightmare!

As for loans and scholarships, I'm sure they do but wouldn't be able to tell you what you require to apply. Are you going to be studying on an ERASMUS program or are you planning on completing your whole degree in Barcelona?

no i think erasmus is for europe only and i live in the united states, im planning on studying my whole degree in spain....im really confused about how i can get in one of those universities but i really want to study in spain and i'll do anything to study there.

I thinking about studies in Spain as well...And I wondering if Im a EU citizen shuold I pay for my studies?Cause I heard EU citizens dont need to pay for a studies in Europe...is that true?

What actually you guys are trying to study i mean which fields ? here in barcelona there is whole zone of universities !! which degree u wanna do i can suggest according to that !
