There is a big optician on Plaza Catalunya... Just around the corner from Fnac... Inside the Triangle shopping center.
I've been there a few times and heard them assist clients in English... Very friendly store...

There is a specsavers in Torrevieja..The staff are English. I can't find the phone number, but can pop in tomorrow to ask if there is a branch in Barcelona..I doubt it, as there are not as many Brits in Barcelona as there are in Torrevieja.
