Thread: Renting for summer?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew of the best place to arrange for short-term accomodation from June to Aug.....We are moving to BCN for the summer on a budget.....there are three of us. I was thinking there might be student campus's that rent out rooms for the summer months?

I am sure Greg will be along shortly (lives in Barcelona) and will be able to direct you to a good place to find accomodation.

There are literally dozens of options for short-term rentals in summer. Unless you want to overpay, stear clear from short-term let agencies as they will usually charge considerably more for something that you can find yourself if you know where to look.

I suggest you place an advert in our Market Place under Wanted, then you browse the listings on Loquo.com, also check the two magazines: Barcelona Connect and Barcelona Metropolitan, then browse through the English version of the property portal Idealista.com....

Greg, i was wondering have you ever heard of the 'Sea Point' hostel in barceloneta?....We were thinking of staying there until we find a more permanent place....I'm hearing mixed reviews about it!....great location, as we want to stay beside the beach....Or can you recommend any other hostels close to the beach?
